Jack Hedger

Jack has four years' experience in environmental consultancy and international development research, primarily focused on community-based forestry, regenerative agriculture, resource management, and natural capital. Previously working for the consultancy Eunomia, he delivered projects in the UK for clients such as Defra, Natural England and the Environment Agency alongside international NGOs, corporations, and the European Commission. Examples of projects he has worked on include supporting the development of Belize’s Marine Litter Action Plan, a European-wide market assessment for refuse-derived fuel, building up investment cases for carbon sequestration options in the North Devon Biosphere Reserve and feasibility studies for how regulation can encourage the adoption of natural capital approaches in the UK. 

Jack holds an MSc (Distinction) from Utrecht University in Sustainable Development where he collaborated with Ecosia to explore the extent to which community reforestation initiatives in Nepal could be used as a means for climate adaptation.
